A Very Happy Birthday to Me, Indeed!

After much time spent waiting for news back from LDSBC, I finally received my much longed for letter of acceptance last Friday! I can't tell you how much stress was relieved considering that classes started today! So, of course, I went into last-minute frenzy mode and registered for classes ASAP! Luckily, I got a pretty great schedule (except for my one class I have every Tuesday and Thursday at 7:50am, EW). Also, I was really freaking lucky to have found an apartment literally half a block from the school!
This is the awesome view I have of the school from my apartment's balcony!

The apartment is sooooo nice. (And of course, I'm in love with the walk-in closet!)

As I said before, today was the first day of classes which I was pretty excited for aside from the fact that TODAY WAS MY 19TH BIRTHDAY! There's no better way to spend your birthday than starting school the same day, right? BLEH, WRONG! But I actually didn't have a terrible day at all and I'm really loving it here. I'm also so thankful that I have Alyssa & Brett only half an hour away because they were able to take me out for a birthday dinner at P.F. Changs which is somewhere I've never been before! It would have sucked so much to not be able to spend my birthday with anyone close to me so I can't even reiterate how grateful I am for them being so close.
This was the fantastic Dali Chicken I had there which was soooooooo spicy and SOOOO delicious.

I just can't explain how blessed I feel for everything that has just fallen into place in my life lately. I'm so happy where I am and I love absolutely everything about it! LDSBC couldn't have been a more perfect choice for me and although it has only been one day, I'm 100% positive that I'm in the right place. I feel so blessed to have the people I do in my life to help me make the right decisions I need to improve myself.
My fortune cookie that I got today couldn't have had a more accurate fortune inside. This month has brought me endless amounts of happiness and hopefully, there will be much more to follow :)

P.S. Shout out to my sweet Daddy that I share a birthday with! He just finished his Tough Mudder race this past weekend. He's intense!
